I found this blog somewhere, and i LOVED it. Take all these same points (average about 1/2 the cost of the US for a great photographer), add to them that the equipment needs to be brought in from some other country, duty and taxes paid, and of course, replacement is a bitch ’cause San Pedro is the most corrosive place on the planet. I was cruisin’ facebook (honestly, i really do WORK on there!), and it occurred to me that Valentines Day was coming! I received an email from a colleague in the states. She also manages tours and other events in Belize, but remotely…from the states.
