The new Tranquility Bay Resort represents the fruition of a dream of several lifelong pals who are longstanding visitors and friends of Belize. Their desire was to create a unique and very special resort to be enjoyed by their families, friends and guests.

The resort is situated on 12 picturesque acres on the island of Ambergris Caye. It lies just inside the magnificent Belize Barrier Reef and has one of the finest beaches in all of Belize. It is the only resort on Ambergris Caye that is located inside the Bacalar Chica National Marine Park, a United Nations World Heritage Site.

Tranquility Bay Resort includes 11 private beachfront cabanas. The bedrooms are air-conditioned. Handsome mixed Belizean hardwoods grace the ceilings. The cabanas are delightfully free of telephones and televisions. The wide, white sandy beach runs the entire width of our property and there are million dollar views from each and every cabana.

Guests have the opportunity to see everything Belize has to offer. San Pedro, Ambergris Caye’s largest town, is home to unique restaurants, quaint shops and the airport. While “Tranquility” is our name, adventure lies close at hand. Mainland excursions and day trips by boat include exploring Mayan ruins, diving or snorkeling at Hol Chan National Marine Preserve, Shark-Ray Alley, or The Blue Hole, one of the world’s top 10 dive sites.
