On 21 December 2012 — the winter solstice – the Maya calendar will complete a 5,126 year cycle and will come to an end. While some people are building shelters to prepare for the apocalypse, others are heading into the heart of Mayan civilization. This is a great time to head into the heart of the Maya civilization and learn what made them so great. It seems that lately Romantic Travel Belize and the 2012 Maya Marriage of Many are getting around! Next stop on the tour is the University of Pennsylvania’s Museum of Archaeology. What a great place to be considering that it is one of the “Ivy League” schools and it is also the first university of the United States!
