I saw this Placencia Belize calendar of events posted online.  It's not all inclusive, but i thought it had a great list of things to do, and would be a great way to begin planning your trip to Belize.   There are several amazing properties, and it's really an altogether different experience than being in San Pedro.   Here's what's going on this year, so

Ok, i admit it. I'm a bit of a San Pedro snob. So i was pleasantly surprised by my visit to Robert's Grove. It's a rather large property with over 50 rooms. Each room was surprisingly well appointed. It's one of the few properties that has ironing boards in it :) The robes and towels are embroidered with their logo, and the soaps and toiletries
