Dear God,
First of all, you’re awesome.
Second, I need your help. You see, I live in Belize, and we need some help.
And well, if Belize doesnt deserve a little shout out from God, then i dont know who/what does. Belize is responsible for the worlds second largest barrier reef on earth, and the largest living one. I totally know you know this, but without the reef, we dont have oxygen and a food chain and all that sorta 7th grade science stuff. And well, there’re a couple things happening that are about to, pardon me, “fuck it up”. Bad.
Norwegian Cruise Lines has bought a 75 acre piece of manatee feeding grounds and coral heads, well, they bought an island, but they’ll need to go through the aforementioned in order to get to it. You totally hit it out of the park when you created manatees, but as you know, man sorta killed ’em all off. Except for like, a couple thousand. And those beautiful creatures live where the cruise ship is going to be.
This woman from Roatan, Honduras did a fantastic job of explaining the problem. I was hoping you’d maybe share the link or something, to help us get the word out? The village of Placencia, Belize only has 1,500 people in it. Belize only has 300,000. We can’t fight Nowegian Cruise Lines. Can you help us? Now, God, i dont want to overwhelm you, but while i’ve got your ear, I thought i’d ask a bit of help for some of the other endangered animals we’re responsible for here in Belize. The Belize Zoo is a natural habitat, all rescue, all donation animal resort of sorts. All the animals were saved from some other fate. Lucky Boy the black jaguar is my favorite.
So, anyway, the Cruise lines are a great big threat, and it’d be awesome if you could post up that video and help us get a little support going.
