December 21, 2012 – Megan and Kevin get married

Megan first contacted me waaay back when in March 2012.  She was interested in a Dec 21, 2012 wedding.  Of course, she was one of the first ones to decide to get married on that date, and Megans fashion design brain was all about the details and getting ahead of the season.  Which, when planning a wedding, is a VERY useful skillset. 🙂

Megan and Kevin stayed both in San Pedro and in Cayo. Having the good sense and style to choose me to work with (teehee) also meant she had the good sense and style to stay at some very chic properties. Unfortunately, she was one of the many brides whose wedding dreams had to be slightly altered due to the incredibly bad planning on the part of the Government of Belize, and we had to keep moving her wedding location from Xunantunich to Cahal Pech and back again.

 

The couple eloped…which always has a soft spot in my heart.  I love for those that come alone to feel like they arent…alone.  That they are looked after and cared for.  I communicate a lot with my clients when they are here, and in Megan and Kevin’s case, they also got some New York Times lovin’ too.

Megan and Kevin first arrived in San Pedro on Dec 16 and enjoyed a beach couples massage upon arrival.

Then, before they headed to the Cayo District, they enjoyed a Romantic, Private Dinner on the Dock

On December 21, 2012, Megan and Kevin were married. I am waiting for more photo’s, but rumor has it, they were incredibly fortunate to have Mayan Drummers and musicians present at the time of their nuptials. Will share photo’s when i have ’em!
