Mitten Snowmen in San Pedro
It’s a rainy saturday…again. I was cruisin’ around on facebook, and saw this cute idea. Make snowmen out of mittens. So, off to the closet i went, and yes, i have mittens. And gloves. Because you need these things in Belize 🙂 Actually, maybe once a year I’m able to wear them here in Belize, but mostly they come in handy when i travel in the winter.
I found this black pair that were rather shabby. They are the convertible finger type, so this added a layer of complexity. By complexity, i mean i sat there a second and realized it didnt really matter much.
After i stuffed the mitten using left over crepe paper from my Kissing Ball project, i used silicone glue to glue the flap shut so cinching the waist would be easier.
I couldnt think of anything else, so i used a foam ball for the head. Â Remember, we dont have craft shops down here, besides, it’s flippin’ raining again. Â When it’s raining in San Pedro, i cant get to town. I dont ride my bike in the rain, and the puddles are a nightmare. Â Anyway, it turns out i had all sorts of goodies i could use for the project, so it’s all good.
Here ya go!
