You know that feeling when you go on vacation and visit a town where your best friend or a member of your family lives? They tell you where to stay, where to eat, what to avoid and the places that the locals frequent. They make it easy to have the perfect vacation because there is no guessing or chances, right?

That’s what Lara Lennon did for our wedding/honeymoon in Belize. We are inexperienced travelers and especially inexperienced in international travel but we decided blindly on Belize and we couldn’t be happier that we did. Upon finding Lara online, the process of booking the hotel, the activities, the ideal itinerary was a breeze. I never felt like Lara was suggesting places just because of any relationships she had. It felt like she genuinely wanted to help us find the best fit for us. She suggested restaurants (which were all outstanding) told us where to be cautious and how to get into the local lifestyle.

But, Lara’s services before the trip were nothing compared to her assistance once we were in Belize. Lara was waiting at our hotel when we arrived and took pictures of us as we settled into the Victoria House. She laid out our itinerary, asked us what we needed and made it clear she was available if we needed her. She even came to our wedding (it was only the two of us) and took pictures of the ceremony. When we did run into a couple of bumps, Lara took the reigns and fixed the situation without us even having to lift a hand.

I can’t express enough how much I would recommend working with Lara for your trip. It truly felt like we had a friend and our own personal concierge in town.
