Dan and I decided on Belize to celebrate our honeymoon in September 2010. We chose Belize because we wanted an exciting vacation that wasn’t too far from our home in Philly and a honeymoon that was not a “cookie cutter” all-inclusive vacation that we could get anywhere else. During our search for information about Belize we came across Lara and her company, Romantic Travel Belize. Not knowing anything about Belize, we told Lara what we wanted to do and she set it up for us. Not only did we stay in one of the nicest resorts we’ve ever been to (The Victoria House in San Pedro), we also had some of the most memorable experiences of our lives. These included touring the Mayan Ruins, cave tubing, and snorkeling in Hol Chan Marine Reserve to name a few. Lara’s personal attention and care on our trip was second to none. She even met us at the resort only about a half hr after we arrived to Belize to welcome us and go over our itinerary for the week and make sure we had everything we needed. We had the most amazing honeymoon ever and it was because we used Romantic Travel Belize. We owe many thanks to Lara for setting it up, taking good care of us and making sure everything went as planned. We recommend using Romantic Travel Belize because no one else has the first hand experience and knows more about Belize than Lara! Thanks Lara!
