Destination Wedding Favors – my new obsession

I have to say, i absolutely love this little business of mine.  It is incredibly fulfilling to be able to help couples plan their dream Belize weddings.   It brings me equal joy, though, to see the many small local businesses which also benefit from those weddings.

And, i’m a bit of a yenta.  So…of course, i cant help but noodle through ways to continue to bring my clients “The Best of the Best of Belize” in unique, and often delicious, ways.  Kakaw Chocolate is a great example. This amazing labor of love, brings not only 100% organic, 100% Belizean, and 100% fantastic chocolate to you, one of the bi-products is 100% Pure Cocoa Butter.

Belize is also known for its coffee.  We have fabulous Belizean coffees here, too.   And there is a little business that is just starting up that makes candles.  We are also known for our Hot Sauce, which can be purchased in small bottles.  Um…how about keychains, made of Belizean Hardwood hand carved with your initials? or your guests initials?

The limit for the options of Hand Made in Belize, high quality items is limited to the reach of my cell phone.  I absolutely love the creative part of the wedding favor process, which allows the guests to truly taste, smell or otherwise experience Belize, but really does help our small cottage industries.

When thinking of your wedding favors, dont forget that you have lug this stuff to belize.   Boxes and bags are light weight and easy to pack.  Bring a glue gun if you want to embellish.  Working with the Romantic Travel Belize team will help by packaging the Belize Items in a great way before your arrival. 🙂

So all this Belize Wedding Favor thinking then turned into a Belize Destination Wedding Favor Box/Bag Obsession.  And who wouldnt become obsessed when you realize there are boxes like this to put chocolate in:
