Poly Puppies Ladies Lunch Fundraiser for the Poly Clinic
Yesterday Ti Southwell and Amy Oldham held their annual “Ladies Lunch” Fundraiser at Wild Mango’s restaurant to raise money for the Poly Clinic. The Poly Clinic is the closest thing we have to a hospital here in San Pedro, so it’s a very important charity to support. I was tied up in the Studio all day, so I was unable to attend. However, I happened to go by Mango’s to drop Tanya’s Gift Basket she’s sending to the Mainland as Christmas present and some of the ladies were still there….sipping wine and champagne.
Last year, Amy and Ti made these adorable dolls.
The Polly Dolly’s were such a success, they decided to do it again this year. but changed it up a bit, and made Poly Puppies. RIDIC!
And then Amy, owner of Wild Mango’s offered me a glass of champagne. I then picked my own puppy. I chose this one because, let’s face it, he’s a bit wonky – and I like wonky.
Suffice to say, the merriment continued on, and Mel got a little frisky with her new Puppy, named Elvis.
All said and done, Ti and Amy raised over $5,000 for the Poly Clinic. BRAVO ladies, BRAVO
