Belizean Designer Makes San Diego Fashion Week

Living in Belize, you see a LOT of talent. Musicians, artists, dancers. You “up there” in North America have probably never heard of a Belizean talent, let alone a fashion designer. So, for Richard Henderson, the talent behind the label RHCreation the opportunity to show his 2014 Resort Wear collection on such an internationally recognized stage as San Diego Fashion Week is, well, a pretty big deal.

To up the excitement ante, Miss Belize, Destinee Arnold will be walking in the show. I know Destinee and have worked with her in the past, and she is a true professional model. I am SOOO hoping she will get seen. It’s so hard to make it “up there” from way down here, and we sure could use a national hero. Having spent time with Destinee, i can think of no one better to represent Belize.

I am really thrilled and proud of this team! Steal the show, team belize!
