Medicine Trail Guided Tour with Mayan Shaman

I love the unusual never before done things to do in belize. That’s my favorite part of my job, finding and sharing some of the most exciting, exotic, authentic experiences in the world (literally).

I am also completely enamored with the Mayan Shaman, and their beautiful spirituality. I was very proud to be the first person to bring a Same Sex Marriage on a Mayan Ruin officiated by a Mayan Shaman. In light of recent US Supreme Court ruling on DOMA, it’s even more exciting to be able to bring the matrimonial experience to more LGBT folks.

There is another Shaman that i’ve found through Balaam Eco Tours. They have identified a Medicine Trail Guided Tour with a Mayan Shaman who has a medicine trail on his land, and will give a guided tour of all the herbal and natural remedies right there on the ground.

That’s not a shaman in the pic above, but it is cultural!
