Hi Lara and Phillip,
Deb and I had to check the conch shells, cost us an extra bag, though. You were right, they did consider it a weapon. I didn’t see the email below til now, so wish I would have. We had a safe trip to Cayo district and had a lot of fun at the zoo, and the iguana preserve and mayan sites and caves. You set up the trip beautifully for us. The bug bites finally resolved about a week after we got back and we washed all the clothes in hot hot water. We don’t believe we carried them back with us. The trip in San Pedro was also memorable, and the snorkeling adventure was good for us, slow paced and safe….we may venture out more next time. You did a great job at setting up our trip. We need to write on trip advisor about it. Hope your trip was uneventful. Phillip did a great job holding us together through it all.
