RePurposed Purple and Orange Wedding – Emily and Jake

I have had the pleasure of working with Emily and Jake for nearly a year on their destination wedding in Belize. I had the further pleasure of working with Isabelle and Carlos, the Live-In Managers of Tranquility Bay Resort, as this was the chosen resort for the couples first half of their Belize wedding-moon adventure.

It’s been raining for weeks here in San Pedro, but true to form, Belize stepped it up and it cleared up and was a magnificent day yesterday. I was very happy to be heading to Tranquility Bay, i consider it a treat to be able to go up there. It’s very very far north – it’s the northern most resort on the island. It is IN a marine reserve as it’s located where the reef meets the island. It’s divine.

A Perfect Day to Go North

Emily was a very crafty, creative, colorful bride. She was an absolute dream to work with. Simple White paper bags, tied with satin ribbon, filled with Kakaw Belize Chocolate, hot sauce and a small bottle of local rum make the perfect “Thanks for Coming!” gift.

The Aquarium at Tranquility Bay Resort. First Dance among friends, family and fish

The newlyweds and their family danced the night away to the tunes of The Punta Boys. About two thirds of the group will be going along with the Happy Couple on their Mini-moon. They will be picked up in Belize City and taken to do Cave Tubing and Zip Lining before heading to their mini-moon hotel, Cahal Pech.

Wishing Emily, Jake and their expanding family a lifetime of happiness!
